3. Special case of dry toilets

3.1 Principle

One of the innovations of the decree of September 7, 2009 setting out the technical requirements applicable to non-collective sanitation installations receiving a gross organic pollution load less than, or equal to, 1.2 kg/d of BOD 5 is to authorize, and precisely frame, dry toilets as a perennial non-collective sanitation technique for individual dwellings.

We're not talking here about event dry toilets, which are used for large-scale events, but about facilities used sustainably at plot level.
