2. Distribution and lining partitions

2.1 Statement of requirements

They replace masonry or concrete walls which have other functions to fulfil, such as load-bearing or bracing functions in the case of partition walls - functions which the lightweight systems in question cannot, of course, fulfil (cf. § 2.4 ).
