4. Implementation
Elevators in service were covered by one or more of the above requirements, depending on their technology, age, use and any upgrades they had already undergone.
Several points had to be taken into consideration by the plant owner in the decisions he had to make:
situation of the device with regard to the various measures to be implemented: number of measures, technical operations involved (refer to NF P 82-212 or NF P 82-312 of November 2005, which indicate the various operations to be carried out according to each type of modification or transformation of the installation);
whether or not it is possible to retain older technology components when replacing certain other parts of the device with modern technology components: constraints, difficulties in adapting ;
