7. Ventilated curtain wall

Opaque curtain wall spandrels are generally ventilated to prevent condensation on the outer wall. In this case, there are vents at the top and bottom, arranged in such a way that water cannot penetrate. If the ventilation is very poor, particularly if there are only holes at the bottom, the wall will no longer be ventilated, but breathable. This is not a traditional technique.
