According to the studies carried out, one of the most important limitations of the cycle is its low flexibility due to the strict limits imposed by the turbine. As mentioned previously, one solution could be to add a laminating valve before the turbine, in order to reduce the turbine inlet pressure and hence the flow rate processed. This possibility was evaluated by adding adjustable adiabatic lamination before the superheater to the model and defining a throttling ratio R lam as the downstream pressure over the pressure upstream of the valve :
