3.1 Input data required for sizing

In order to design a device adapted to the needs of the site, with controlled purchase and operating costs, you need to know :

  • the hourly quantity of heat to be removed Q (J/h) ;

  • cooling water flow rate q vr (m 3 /h) ;

  • the temperature drop of this water ΔT = T e2 – T e1 (K) ;
