Autoconsommation (taux); self-consumption (rate)

Share of photovoltaic electricity production consumed instantaneously in relation to the total production of the photovoltaic system.

Autoproduction (rate); self-production (rate)

Percentage of photovoltaic electricity generated instantaneously in relation to the site's total electricity consumption.

Cellule photovoltaïque; solar cell

Photovoltaic device composed of a photosensitive semiconductor material that generates electrical energy under the effect of light radiation.

Cogeneration; cogeneration

Production of two forms of energy at the same time in the same plant.
