8. Capture and storage of CO2

Capture and storage of CO 2 emissions apply in the case of concentrated CO 2 , like those from a large coal-fired power plant.

On the figure 4 is a diagram of a CO 2 , extracting CO 2 in the flue gas, generally by washing with a solvent, to compress the CO 2 extracted and transported to an underground storage site. The CO 2 can then be injected into the subsoil and stored permanently.
