1.1 Coordinate systems
Among the many possible coordinate systems, we'll focus on six:
the Clapeyron diagram (P, v ), which gives the most direct picture of mechanical transformations, but is not very useful for studying industrial projects, as it does not allow the usual energy quantities, particularly entropy and enthalpy, to be read accurately;
the entropy diagram (T, s ) which directly visualizes reversible heat transfers
