1. Application to a thermal system

We will illustrate the methodology of bond graph modeling with a simple example given in figure 1 a, which corresponds to an uncoupled energy system (only thermal energy is considered, without the effect of hydraulic energy).

The bond graph modeling steps are illustrated by an example of thermal heating of a bath by a hot fluid.
