3. Internal equipment

This refers to the equipment inside the vessel, with the exception of the nuclear fuel.

Internal equipment performs the following functions

  • support and lateral holding of fuel assemblies ;

  • guidance of control clusters and instrumentation ;

  • coolant distribution to fuel assemblies and structures to be cooled.

3.1 Description
