4. Protocol for optimizing electropolishing parameters in additive manufacturing

Setting up an electropolishing process suitable for very rough substrates, such as those used in additive manufacturing, requires a structured experimental approach that starts in the laboratory and continues on an industrial or semi-industrial scale.

The complete electropolishing process includes three fundamental steps:
