
3. Experimental protocol

The machining tests were carried out on a Flow – Flying-bridge 4800 production JEA (i.e. cutting) machine (figure 3 ). The machine's main components are :
an IFB Dynamic waterjet chassis allowing a maximum feed speed of 11,200 mm/min and a maximum acceleration of 0.02 g ;
a PASER cutting head ® ECL plus ;
a 30 kW Hyplex ® axial pump with a range from 400 bar to 3,850 bar and a maximum flow rate of 3.7 L/min.
