4. Determine optimum abrasive flow rate and feed speed

In machining as in cutting, the abrasive flow parameter D a passes through an optimum (called optimal abrasive flow D aopt ) which maximizes the machined depth h. This optimum depends on the jet configuration (pressure and nozzle) but also on the gun, the application and the abrasives used.
