2. Cathode definition

2.1 Flow type definition and tool isolation

The application of Ohm's and Faraday's laws highlights a very important parameter for the lateral gap: the insulation of the cathode body in its non-active part. In the case of penetration with a cylindrical cathode, the gap takes on a parabolic shape (figure 9 a ).
