2.1.1 Rotor mass imbalance. Unbalance
No matter how carefully a machine is built, it is not possible to align the axis of rotation with the center of gravity of each individual rotor section, which is what characterizes unbalance. As a result, the rotating shaft is subjected to centrifugal forces that deform it. These forces result in vibrations linked to the rotation frequency
