3. Complete bonding of two shafts

3.1 Background and benefits

The above mechanical connections enable the transmission of mechanical actions normal to the surfaces in contact. They enable movements that create sliding speeds tangential to the surfaces in contact.

The use of adhesion phenomena helps to avoid these slippages, without adding a bond. The transmission of tangential mechanical actions is then possible.
