5.1 Presentation
A first version of the software for predicting the dynamic behavior of monorotors in bending was developed at the Structural Mechanics Laboratory (LMSt) of INSA Lyon in 1981, then a close collaboration with the Thermodyn company resulted in a high-performance software package for industrial use. In recent years, this software has been fitted with a high-performance preprocessor and postprocessor, and is currently distributed by Framasoft + CSI under the name Sysrotor. A second software package for predicting the dynamic behavior of multirotors in bending has been developed by the LMSt and distributed mainly in the aeronautical sector.
