4.1.1 Limit switches

Magnetic-sensing cylinders incorporate a magnet on the periphery of the piston. As the body is non-magnetic, this system allows sensors to be mounted directly on the cylinder body.

These sensors can be used to signal either the end of travel or an intermediate position, and are generally of the :
