7. Cylinder consumption
Each time it moves back and forth, the cylinder consumes the volume of air needed to carry out its movement. We can therefore calculate the air consumption for one cycle, and then, depending on the number of cycles per minute, the air consumption per minute, or per hour. This consumption value will be useful in defining the size of the distributor, the compressed air conditioning unit, right up to the compressor. Here's how to calculate it:
