3. Examples of products

This section uses a series of products from different fields to illustrate the benefits of mechatronics and the variety of applications it can be used for. It could be called "the wonders of mechatronics", as these examples demonstrate the astonishing results that can be achieved by combining mechanics, electronics and IT. It also testifies to the ingenuity of designers, who invent new and sometimes astounding solutions to bring new performance and original functionality to classic products.

It's worth noting that to illustrate robotics, the leading discipline in mechatronics, we didn't choose a classic industrial robot, but a small humanoid robot designed for play applications. Its ambition and complexity make it a quintessential example of today's robotics.
