5. Towards lightweight, versatile calculation tools
Model reduction techniques make it possible to produce numerical models that are potentially both physically accurate and numerically efficient; the computational resources thus required to perform a vibro-acoustic analysis are then sufficiently low that the computational model can be ported to a "light" computing medium, such as a digital tablet. This is illustrated in figure 13 .
