Headquarters (SEAT)
Fixed part of the device on which the seal is made.
Retention zone
Area inside the device in which the conveyed fluid can become trapped.
Cable gland
Device used to seal the passage of the actuator shaft or rod to the outside.
Autoclave
Refers to the direction of assembly. In the autoclave direction, the fluid pressure "pushes" the obturator onto its seat. A non-return valve will always be installed in the non-autoclave direction.
Kv
Flow coefficient (or capacity): reference value characterizing the pressure drop across the valve in relation to the flow through it under certain conditions (European units).
