4. Conclusion

Although gas and steam ejectors are the most widely used ejectors today, we are keen to explain the basic laws governing the operation of the three main types of device:

  • liquid-liquid ejectors,

  • gas-gas ejectors,

  • steam-steam ejectors.

For the various possible combinations, we have indicated the field of application for each one, attaching diagrams and graphics wherever possible. A non-exhaustive list of manufacturers is provided in the appendix, together with a number of bibliographical references, several of which provide very recent state-of-the-art information.
