3. Modeling a PRS (Power Recovery System)
The PRS device is obtained by introducing a diffuser downstream of the impeller in traditional Banki-Michell units. This diffuser allows the flow rate to leave the impeller under pressure, enabling it to be inserted in water distribution networks with reduced pressures and losses, extended network service life, reduced treatment and pumping costs, and energy recovery.
