6. Waste gasification process

If now, when a waste is heated, the treatment atmosphere is lacking in air, but enriched with water vapor and/or carbon dioxide (reactants), the volatile materials emitted will not undergo a combustion process and the fixed carbon will start to react with water vapor and CO 2 at temperatures of 850-900°C, in endo/exothermic thermochemical transformation reactions, known as gasification [9][13] , of the type :
