7. Innovative applications and processes

Numerous books and journals summarize the possible applications of supported chemistry. Two original examples have been chosen here to illustrate the potential of this methodology. With regard to the development of innovative processes, the advantages of using the solid phase in parallel synthesis will be demonstrated. The effects of microwave, ultrasonic and high-pressure activations, known from the liquid phase, have been evaluated for the solid phase. Finally, reactions carried out electrochemically or in the presence of ionic liquid were also tested.
