5. Industrial success stories in intensification

Examples of industrial successes in intensification are few and far between in the literature. There is a simple reason for this: confidentiality. Competitive advantages are such that it is often not permitted to report on these successes. Secondly, we can see that there are also more or less objective barriers to industrialization, even if pilot-scale proof-of-concept has been successful.
