3. Data collection
Data collection is a key stage in the Bilan Carbone ® process, and must be as exhaustive as possible. It will concern :
data relating to the entity's activities;
validation of emission factors and development of specific emission factors where necessary;
assessment of the uncertainty of collected data and specific emission factors (uncertainties are already associated with emission factors in the calculation tool).
