6. Original use to raise public awareness

When it comes to airborne environments, exposure-indicating plants provide us with information on how dangerous pollutants are for living beings. When their damage is visible, such as the appearance of leaf necrosis, these plants become real tools for communicating and raising public awareness of air quality issues [9] .
