Life Cycle Analysis (LCA); Analyse du Cycle Vie (ACV)

Method for assessing the overall environmental impact of a product or transformation (process). Lifecycle analysis is used to assess the environmental impact attributable to the production of a product throughout its life cycle (raw materials, transport, transformation, use, end-of-life, etc.).

Life Cycle Cost (LCC); Analyse du coût du Cycle Vie (ACCV)

Corresponds to the total cost of a product throughout its life, "from cradle to grave".

CMR compound; carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction compound

Acronym derived from chemical risk prevention regulations, characterizing a chemical substance which, in the medium or long term, may induce carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic effects.
