Additive manufacturing involves a wide variety of raw materials and processes, leading to a wide range of risks: chemical, machine, physical, etc. Regulations specific to each of these risks apply to all additive manufacturing processes. It is important to apply the general principles of prevention to all processes and all related stages. Maintenance and waste management are singular stages in terms of employee exposure, requiring special attention in terms of safety.
