INTRODUCTION
Nanomaterials and manufactured nano-objects are rapidly expanding areas of scientific research and industry.
The extremely rapid development of manufactured nanomaterials and nanoparticles means that a growing number of people are potentially exposed to manufactured nanomaterials, from operators in industrial environments (nearly 3,270 in industrial production) to research laboratory staff (around 7,000 overall).
Hence the need to consider their safety aspects.
