The use of personal respiratory equipment is, and always will be, an additional constraint for the wearer. Choosing the right respiratory equipment requires special attention to minimize it. Identifying the risk and involving the end-user in the choice phase are two essential elements in achieving optimum results. The future of respiratory protection lies in the transition from European to ISO standards, synonymous with globalization. The changes are purely technical, aimed at optimizing equipment design for more clearly defined "work sequences", while minimizing the discomfort caused by wearing equipment.
