Inherent Level of Reliability and Safety; Niveau inhérent de fiabilité et de sécurité
A level that is built into the entity, and therefore inherent in its design. This is the highest level of reliability and safety that can be expected of an entity, system or aircraft if it receives effective maintenance. To achieve higher levels of reliability, modifications or redesigns are necessary.
