7. Application example
The purpose of this section is to give an example of how the MADS-MOSAR method can be applied to carry out a hazard study for an ICPE.
To make this application example easy to understand, a simple system is analyzed.
This is a cold storage warehouse.
The system studied is the entire site and its surroundings.
The site includes access roads, parking lots, the building and unsealed areas.
The building includes three storage cells, a machine room, a load room, forklift trucks, a transformer room, a TGBT room, a packaging room, a maintenance area, a janitor's room, two loading bays and offices.
In the remainder of this example, only those parts of the hazard study requiring the use of the MADS-MOSAR method are illustrated.
