5. Conclusion on IAQ in residential, commercial and industrial buildings

Thus, indoor air quality is a growing concern for public authorities, mainly governed by the Environment Code, and supported by various recent legal tools for monitoring and improving knowledge, such as national health and environment plans, or regulations on monitoring indoor air quality in certain establishments open to the public. In addition, other tools exist to help reduce sources, right from the construction or renovation phase, through health labelling and health labels. Finally, air renewal is governed by building ventilation regulations.
