9. Elevators

In compliance with standard NF P 82-210 :
they are not considered as a means of evacuation, except in the case of homes for the disabled;
they must always be accessible from the common areas; if the elevator is private, it must be double-service (door on the dwelling side with the same fire rating as the shaft + door from a common circulation);
They must be separated from parking lots and basement cellars by an airlock.
