Adaptation; adaptation
Accommodation of natural or human systems to actual or expected climatic stimuli or their effects, in order to mitigate disadvantages or exploit advantages.
Mitigation
Anthropogenic intervention to reduce the sources or increase the sinks of greenhouse gases.
