12. Stacker cutter

The plate is only cut to length once cooling is complete, i.e. after the pulling station.

This is done with shears, except for brittle polymers where a circular saw is required.

In all cases, the cutting system is mounted on a table which moves at line speed and returns to the stand-by position once cutting is complete.

The cut sheets are then handled by a handling system equipped with suction cups, which lifts them and stacks them on their pallets.
