1.1 The benefits of sensory analysis for the automotive industry

This interest is linked first and foremost to the "preferences" axis, mentioned in the article , since it must lead to products that are suitable for consumers, and thus to a competitive advantage.

But it cannot be limited to this aspect, as hedonic judgment alone does not allow us to make progress on the design of the product, which may be a simple part or a vehicle. In fact, it provides no information on the "sensations" axis, which characterizes the product as such.
