7. Technological variants for laser welding of thermoplastic materials in industry
Laser welding is a technique widely used in industry to join parts made of thermoplastic materials. It produces high-quality, precise and fast welds, offering significant advantages over other welding technologies. Among the different technological variants of laser welding, three are particularly widespread in industry: contour welding, quasi-simultaneous welding and simultaneous welding. Each of these technologies has specific characteristics that make them suitable for particular industrial applications. They offer specific advantages in terms of process time, flexibility and shape tolerances.
