4. Equipment used

4.1 Machines

Their function is to reliably dose and mix components. They consist of the following components.

  • Two storage tanks

    These tanks, containing components A and B respectively, are equipped with stirrers, temperature-controlled and maintained under dry air pressure.

  • Two dosing groups

    Dosing of the two components A and B is carried out by high-pressure, variable-flow pumps. When non-abrasive and of low viscosity (less than 1 Pa · s), components A and B pass directly through the pump casings. Vertical, axial or radial piston pumps are used.
