3. Applications for electroplated composite coatings

Depending on the nature of the dispersed elements contained in the metal matrix, composite coatings possess one or more of the following characteristics: anti-wear, anti-friction, anti-abrasion, anti-corrosion, etc.

This new family of materials can be applied in a variety of fields:

  • dimensional adjustment of parts worn in service or undersized as a result of faulty machining;

  • surface protection of new parts ;
