The effectiveness of advanced driving modes with (BFPRA) and without (BFP) adaptive model has been evaluated in terms of mass control, for a wide range of material/tooling/machine configurations .
Initially, the study focused on a laboratory configuration:
ISO1 and Vicat standardized specimen cluster mold;
900 kN hydraulic press;
typical production run of 100 parts incorporating a thermal disturbance (induced by a one-hour machine shutdown modelling a production start-up)...
