6. Zonal Analysis Procedure
6.1 Objectives
The aim of the "Zonal" section is to cover all areas of the aircraft that would not be covered by inspections of propulsion systems and structures. This section consists exclusively of type maintenance tasks (GVI), i.e. visual examinations (interior or exterior) to detect obvious damage, deterioration or irregularities. The Zonal Inspection Program (ZIP) provides the requirements for visual inspection of the entire aircraft, in successive zones, covering systems, engines and structure, to ensure their overall good condition and maintain safety. This involves a cursory examination of each area of the aircraft carried out during the MSG-3 procedure to analyze structures, systems and propulsion systems.
