9. Conclusion

The MSG-3 method used in the aeronautical sector is characterized by its extremely rigorous analysis of failures that can occur on systems and engines, structures, zones and protection systems against lightning and high-intensity radiated fields. To obtain type certification for an aircraft from the regulatory authorities (ATA, ASEA, etc.), the content of maintenance tasks is first drawn up by expert working groups under the responsibility of the MRB (Maintenance Review Board) and then validated by these regulatory authorities.
