3. Specifications and tests

The specifications indicate the general characteristics required of the packaging to be used, e.g. details of the construction method or the quality of the constituent materials. These specifications are supplemented by the maximum net volume or mass that a particular type of packaging can contain. These values are given in table 3 .

These tests consist in subjecting a certain number of samples to the minimum mechanical stresses specified in the various texts already cited 1.1
