1. The birth of BIM

Over the past decade, a number of factors have disrupted the world of construction. Between preserving nature and preserving the client's wallet, consciences have been awakened by a profusion of principles, labels and objectives to be achieved.

These include the Grenelle 1 and Grenelle 2 laws, which cover :

  • the 2012 Thermal Regulations (RT 2012), knowing that ;

    • renovation includes an insulation obligation from 1 er January 2017,

    • Thermal insulation of facades and roofs will also be mandatory for major building renovations from January 2017. The decree governing this measure has been published in the Journal Officiel ;
