Today's tool manufacturers all have access to standard machines offering a high-performance package. As a result, there is a levelling out of mediocre-quality manufacturers towards medium-quality manufacturers. In other words, while it was difficult to make good tools a few decades ago, today it is rare to produce bad tools, given the high level of production resources available. In the future, machine manufacturers will be offering their customers more and more, so as to build user loyalty by providing tool manufacturers with increasingly comprehensive solutions.
